Open access at Taylor & Francis

An OA timeline

The timeline below charts some of the milestones in the developing open access program at Taylor & Francis, from our first guidance to authors about self-archiving in 2003, through the launch of Cogent OA in 2013, to a new set of data sharing policies in 2018.

More developments are in the pipeline, providing even greater choice and enabling authors to maximize the impact of their research. As we look forward, our driving principle will continue to be making it as easy as possible for the communities we serve to achieve their open scholarship aims.
