Waiver policy for former Co-Action Publishing journals
Taylor & Francis Group acquired Co-Action Publishing at the end of 2016. During a transition period, the following waiver policy for these journals will be maintained. When the journals fully transition to Taylor & Francis, the waiver policy will align with the rest of the Taylor & Francis journals. A list of affected journals is below.
Waiver policy for former Co-Action journals
We offer a complete or partial fee waiver on a case-by-case basis for individual authors or author groups affiliated with a university or institute in low income or lower / middle income economies as defined by the World Bank, and which had a 2013 gross domestic product of less than 200 billion US dollars. Please check the list below. If the author group includes researchers from universities or institutes in high income economies, the publication fee will likely not be waived.
Please request your waiver when you make your submission in the journal’s Editorial Manager site. Requests for waivers for manuscripts that are already under peer review or in production will not be granted.
The corresponding author must include the following information in the waiver request in Editorial Manager:
– Names and titles of all authors.
– Institutional affiliations of all authors.
– Type of waiver requested: Partial (indicate the amount you can pay in EUR) or Full.
– Reason for waiver application.
– Please explain how the research has been funded.
Please note that applications that do not contain this information will not be evaluated.
Please note that if a project has been funded but no money has been reserved for publication (i.e. funds have been exhausted prior to the publication process, requests will be declined).
Editors and reviewers have no access to author payment information. Waiver status will not influence their editorial decision.
