What to expect at the event

This workshop guides participants in shaping book ideas, completing proposal templates, and navigating the review process. Attendees will draft a proposal, learn tips for success, and explore open access options for academic book publishing.

We will be running two sessions at different times for this event, please select the session that suits you best.

This webinar is part of The Research Communication Lab, a year-long, 11-part program designed to help researchers navigate scholarly publishing and maximize their impact. Open to all, it includes monthly live sessions, pre-recorded content for flexible learning, and covers topics like academic writing, peer review, publishing ethics, research data management, and using social media for visibility.

About the speaker

Katie Peace is VP Academic Partnerships, Asia for Taylor & Francis. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the publishing industry globally. Through her experience she has insights into the academic journals and books publishing processes and specialises in advising and guiding authors to produce the best publishing output. She is happy to share her knowledge with early career researchers and experienced academics in Asia Pacific looking to publish their work for an international market.
