Are you aware of the latest research and recommendations for Plain Language Summaries?
Do you know how to use generative AI in PLS development and evaluate the effectiveness of plain language?
Plain Language Summaries are now an accepted and valued asset in the medical publications community, with a wealth of research supporting their reach and impact. However, the PLS landscape continues to change with expanded guidance, a wider selection of plain language publications, and the introduction of generative AI.
This talk is aimed at publication professionals and researchers in the medicine and health field, addressing current and most frequently asked questions about PLS. As the publication of company-sponsored medical research adapts to new trends and technology, it is important to understand how PLS has evolved to become an essential tool for communicating research to broader audiences.
Watch three experienced publishing professionals from Taylor & Francis and gain insight into the latest evidence-based research on PLS, the appropriate use of generative AI for their development, and best practices for making PLS accessible and discoverable for their intended audiences.
